Beatrice Ferrari

Beatrice was born in Verona, where her dance journey started, from a very young age. Ballet, Modern-jazz have been her first approaches to dance, to then pursuing the studies of contemporary techniques. Thanks to her strong foundation, a various background and a fervid commitment, Beatrice was rewarded with a scholarship for a professional dance program in Catania. This opportunity gave her the chance to be discovered by Roberto Zappalá, one of the most important choreographers and artistic directors of Italy.

After this experience she moved to Tel Aviv, where she immersed herself in the study and practice of Gaga Technique. With a rich knowledge of different dance languages she went back to Italy where she started her career as a dance teacher and a freelance performer. She was chosen as a soloist by the Italian choreographer Giulia Roversi; their strong artistic relationship is still vivid and their projects are still travelling throughout Italy.

In 2023 Beatrice took part to “Alessio”, a live performance by Nico Vascellari, one of the most recognized artists of the performative scene in Europe. Meanwhile she was teaching ballet in the “Soul project” school in Verona, where she was also giving contemporary workshops, exploring her own idea of expressivity throughout movement.

She is currently based in Zurich, where the emergent choreographer Maria Combi has chosen her to be a dancer in the next creation, which will take place in 2024 in Milano, Zurich and Berlin.
