Cristina Bugli is an Italian RAD Registered Ballet Teacher and a Contemporary Dance Teacher according to the ISTD method. She graduated with Distinction in Advanced Ballet Syllabus (RAD Method) after having trained with professional teachers from Italy, London and Australia, where she also performed with the Gold Coast City Ballet Youth Company in Coppelia, Paquita, and Swan Lake.
In 2004, she moved to London to join the Rambert Dance School and to graduate with a BA (Hons) Degree in Ballet and Contemporary Dance. This background enabled her to combine the rigor of traditional dance training with a deep understanding of the contemporary principles, in particular Graham and Cunningham techniques.
She took part in several workshops, masterclasses and summer intensive courses where she got the opportunity and the privilege to learn from directors and professional dancers from Dutch National Ballet, Stuttgart Ballet, Les Ballet de Monte-Carlo, Balletto di Roma, la Scala di Milano, Royal Academy of Dance, Delattre Company and Phoenix Dance Company.
She has been working as a dance teacher for children and professional students for 15 years in Italy where she gained also many experiences as a backstage assistant and as a choreographer. She took part to the recent editions of YAGP Europe and International Talent Award competitions as backstage and audition class assistant and as a candidates’ announcer.
She is currently teaching ballet and contemporary dance by being part of different projects and various student background in Italy and in Zurich. To stay updated with the latest educational approaches she actively attend professional development courses in order to achieve the Rad Examiner Program training.
