Born in Sofia, Gabriel began his training at age 5 with the folklore ensemble “Rosna Kitka”. He continued his training at the National School of Dance Art focusing on Bulgarian Folklore, under Nicola Kolev. At 13, Gabriel discovered his passion for ballet and started training with the Bulgarian dancer Krassimira Koldamova.
In 2012, he created the project “Help Me to discover myself”. This prize-winning show mixed 3 dance styles (Classical Ballet, Modern Ballet, and Bulgarian Folklore) and was performed in Bulgaria and Germany. In 2012 he was accepted to the National Music Academy in Sofia for Ballet Pedagogy and in 2017 he graduated successfully Bachelor’s degree as a Ballet Master/Pedagogue. In 2018, he obtained a Master’s degree.
In 2020, he was admitted to the “Vaganova Ballet Academy” in St. Petersburg “Choreographic art” to obtain a doctorate at the Department of Balletmaster Education.
He joined Opera na Zamku in Poland where he performed the Arabian Dance in Nutcracker and the Gypsy Princess El Amor Brujo. In 2013, he joined Opera Wroclawska, he was part of La Fille Mal Gardee, Coppelia, and Swan Lake, and many other ballets.
Since 2014, Gabriel is enjoying teaching and sharing his passion of ballet with everyone.
